We all know what it is to celebrate special occasions as families and as a nation. In Lev 23-25, Israel were commanded to rest, gather and worship God on special days, seasons and even years. For NT believers, these days point forward to coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Col2 reminds us we are not bound to keep these feast days in Leviticus but the principle or rest, gathering and worship continues with the Sabbath day as we remember our risen Lord Jesus Christ.
