The book of Acts records the gospel advancing from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. It reminds us of constant opposition to the message but the triumphant power of God to save Jews and Gentiles. After pausing the series in 2012, we recommence at Chapter 11 in 2020.
As Paul concludes his second missionary journey, he visits Ephesus briefly and returns to Antioch. He had earlier longed to be in Asia, but had been prevented, and now it seems like he is passing over this important city. We see the hand of God providentially moving Paul on, and raising up other gospel workers…
