During this ongoing season of uncertainty, we continually adjust how we minister the gospel to our church family and the wider community. Thank you for your patience and prayers as we adapt to the various changes week by week.
We are exhorted to assemble regularly as God’s people, for gathered worship, fellowship with one other and to act as a corporate witness to the world. We believe gathering together for corporate worship is essential for the local church and the good of the community.
We also strive to submit to civil authorities to the extent they do not conflict with God’s Word. To that end, SBC is registered as COVID-safe and has developed a COVID-safe plan which is regularly adjusted to the latest government advice.
As of 22nd October 2020, SBC will now welcome up to 140 worshippers to the 10.30 Worship Service.
Conditions of Entry
- Must not have cold/flu symptoms
- Must provide name and contact details
- Maximum capacity for 140 worshippers on site
Social Distancing & Hygiene Measures
- Staggered seating greater than 1.5m
- Provision of hand wash stations and face masks (optional)
If you are not a SBC member and you would like to attend, please contact the church so we can confirm whether we can accomodate you. The SBC Livestream will no longer be provided from 1st July 2020, but sermons will be audio recorded and made available after the service for those unable to join us.
During the week, small group meetings/Bible studies have now recommenced in homes and via Zoom. For more details, please join the Stanmore Baptist Church Facebook group for Zoom meeting details. All are welcome to participate.
