Biblical Principles

We are exhorted to assemble regularly as God’s people, for gathered worship, fellowship with one other and to act as a corporate witness to the world. We believe gathering together for corporate worship is essential for the health of the local church and the good of the community.

We also strive to submit to civil authorities to the extent they do not conflict with God’s Word. To that end, SBC is registered as COVID-safe and has developed a COVID-safe plan which is regularly adjusted to the latest government advice.

As of 14th February 2021, SBC will now welcome up to 280 worshippers on the premises

Conditions of Entry

  • Must not have cold/flu symptoms
  • Must provide name and contact details
  • Maximum capacity for 280 worshippers on site (as per 2m2 rule)

Social Distancing & Hygiene Measures

  • Staggered seating to maintain 2m2 physical distancing (except households)
  • Hand sanitisers, hand washing facilities and face masks will be available

If you are not a SBC member and you would like to attend, please contact the church so we can confirm whether we can accomodate you. The SBC Livestream will no longer be provided from 1st July 2020, but sermons will be audio recorded and made available after the service for those unable to join us.

During the week, small group meetings/Bible studies have now recommenced in homes and via Zoom. For more details, please join the Stanmore Baptist Church Facebook group for Zoom meeting details. All are welcome to participate.
